Gimme 7

Seven answers, 60 seconds, your turn.

“Give me 7 Pixar movies.” That's the whole game. One player reads the question and ticks off the right answers; the player across from them shouts everything that comes to mind before the time runs out.

One phone is all it takes, and players hand it round. Two to six players, 15 seconds to 3 minutes a round, and a difficulty set for each so younger players can hold their own. It works offline, with no account, no ads and no tracking.

A look at it

  • General knowledge, 2 to 6 players. A round about to start, two of five: the category Geography, the question “Give me 7 countries in South America”, Leo reading and Maya answering.
  • One phone is all it takes. The answer board with 33 seconds left: Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Venezuela found, Colombia, Chile and Ecuador still hidden.
  • Movies, sport, history. The category picker with five of eighteen chosen, among them Food & Drink, Sports, Science, Geography and Pop Culture.
  • Winner takes the crown. The final podium: Leo first on 156 points, Maya second on 132, Nina third on 108, with each player's round-by-round scores below.
  • Pick your difficulty. The level picker set to Medium, and two mascots, a small one labelled Easy and a big one labelled Hard, showing that each player can play at their own level.
  • Always something new. Two questions on cards, each flagged New: “Give me 7 words people say instead of swearing” and “Give me 7 US states that touch the ocean”. Beside them a mascot carries a label reading Updated regularly.

How a round goes

  1. Line up the players

    Two players or six, on their own or with a whole group behind the name. Type one in, or tap one the app remembers from last time.

  2. Pick your categories and a level

    Eighteen to choose from: movies, music, geography, food, sports and thirteen more. Easy, Medium or Hard changes the mix of questions you get, and each player can sit at a different level.

  3. Pass the phone and shout

    One player reads the question and ticks off the right answers; the other calls out everything that comes to mind. Seven answers is a full board, then the phone moves on.
